Homecoming 2015
In April, when I visited the university from my homestate of Colorado, I knew that I wanted take part in the Mizzou Homecoming activities as soon as I heard my Mizzou Admissions tour guide describe the memories she had from homecoming week.
This October, I immersed myself in Mizzou’s Homecoming events. The school spirit and social events at Mizzou were all wrapped up in a single weekend. My idea of homecoming has absolutely changed, and more importantly, I was reminded why I am proud to call myself a Mizzou Tiger.

My name is Larissa Babiak. I am a freshman in the School of Journalism and Honors College at Mizzou. This fall, I experienced Mizzou Homecoming for myself for the first time. As a student, I knew that the university’s homecoming events were legendary. However, I had not yet felt what it was like to be on campus, feeling the immense Mizzou spirit, on homecoming weekend.
