Mizzou Homecoming 2015 by the Numbers

As I reflect on my personal experience of Mizzou Homecoming, I now realize the greater importance of the homecoming tradition and how it supports the university. Since beginning work as a student assistant at the Mizzou Alumni Association, I saw the planning, preparation and attention to detail that it takes to create a memorable Homecoming for students, families and alumni.

Homecoming joins generations of the Mizzou family who celebrate the university on a greater scale. Members of the Mizzou family enjoy the sports, value the academics and carry themselves with pride each day, but homecoming serves as a special time each year for them to appreciate and remember the university.

Beyond celebrating the university, Homecoming is a way for Tigers to dedicate time serving the Columbia community, give back to those in need and entertain fellow students, alumni and families. The 104th Homecoming events were successful because of the many individuals who took time to plan, participate in and support the efforts of the university, its students and staff.
